Peter Bulík
Lifelong self-taught guitar player, guest artist with many musicians. He defines himself as a lifelong self-taught player (not only) on the guitar. Through intuition and self-improvement, he became an important part of the Bratislava music scene. He performs in bands such as: From a Distance, Cosmic Days, The Beaulique project, or Martina Javor band.
When Peter was 15 years old, he founded the first group that played his original songs called From A Distance. He started playing at Jazz Café Beatles with The Beetles and joined the heavy metal band Amalthea. Peter considers this to be the gateway to the world of show business, and thanks to his frequent concerts, he was noticed and later engaged Kamil Grebeň, Maroš Hečko, or Oskar Rózsa in their projects. He also played "trades" with Rob Opatovský and big "trance" parties with Milan Lieskovský. Concerts, e.g. also with Martina Javor, in the event world he is a guest in Silent Trio, and from his own projects, the Cosmic Days and Castaway projects work for him recreationally.
He considers his versatility to be his greatest advantage: "I have been in several bands since I was fourteen, and I think that playing different styles is a reflection of my age-old interest in music as such. I don't want to be specific to just one genre." He appears not only alongside rock musicians, but also the hip-hop scene (Kali, Miky Mora, Čistychov, etc.) and the world music scene (La3no Cubano...). at the same time, he is a guitarist in the Nová Scéna Theater orchestra. He teaches theoretical subjects at the Private Conservatory in Topoľčany and at the VŠMU in Bratislava. He studied guitar under the guidance of well-known Slovak guitarists.
He is a graduate of music theory and composition at VŠMU.
There is room for multi-genres in contrasting projects. Peter's jazz-rock trio Frankie Kimono combines genres and does not set musical boundaries. In his solo work, he also devotes himself to music from a more "classical" environment. He composes for various instrumental ensembles, and with his music (and guitar playing) he goes slightly beyond the classical environment.
In 2020, he released his debut solo album "Némám se s kím playa". It is a multi-genre instrumental recording in which several interesting guests took part. The album was on the longlist of nominations for several categories of Radiohlava awards, or in the nomination for jazz album of the year (Esprit 2020).

My name is Janko Lehotský Jr., I am a musician. My main instrument is the bass guitar, which I have been playing since I was 14 years old. I can also play piano and guitar; which is a combination of bass guitar and piano; and I teach it at ZUŠ Vysoká pri Morava - everything I learned about music. I studied playing the double bass at the music conservatory. And during my studies I started playing in music groups. We are dedicated to jazz style with combined and other styles. But we never miss comprehensibility, simplicity and purposefulness. I also like the pop music we're playing at the moment. Originality combined with precise form allows the use of multiple styles to create your own genre. The inspiration was any source, be it funky to blues, flamengo, electronic dance music, or folk melodies "or anything else..."
