About event
Our biggest rodent Bobor 🦫 was an unwanted creature in the past. After our ancestors almost exterminated him, he slowly returns and even settles the places under the Tatras, where we follow his footsteps. 🐾
We will be accompanied by a zoologist, ecologist, activist and lecturer Ondrej Kameniar, with whom we will step on the beaver dams to Lopušná dolina, where it will bring us closer to the fascinating details of the life of this animal and explain the extremely important role of beavers in nature. 🌱
The observation of Bobrov is connected with luck, in favor of which only nature decides, but the construction talent of these greatest rodents cannot be denied, so the experience will certainly be worth seeing dams and beaver castles that turn large areas and turn the country into unrecognizable. 🌊
There will be a lot of narration on our trip and, last but not least, other natural discoveries from a visit to natural corners.

- entrance fee: 5 € in place; (parking at CBA Verex, Kuzmány 745). Duration of the route approx. 4 hours, return to LM at 13:00.
- Departure to and from Lopušná dolina is individual. Possibility of using public transport to Svit and subsequent transport by car secured by the organizer. Event. Possibility of providing transportation-by car by car according to the capacity and willingness of registered and motorized visitors 🙂 (must be reported in advance); change to change.
- In case of bad weather, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event. Here he participated in the Remote Primara Forests project, which is the largest European research project, dedicated to the research of forests. He spent hundreds of days and nights in the forests of Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro and Georgia as part of field research, as well as his private travel projects. He regularly lectures on his travels and especially about forest ecology. His photographs and lyrics appeared in various nationwide media, but also on the front pages of well -known scientific journals such as Nature or Ecosystems. Recent years have been active in the initiative We are a forest, which is advocated for better protection of forests in Slovakia. In 2021, Forbes magazine chose it for the prestigious ranking "30 under 30". He is a lecturer of natural tourism in O.Z. Lesmir.
