We cordially invite you to the concert, which will draw attention to the important connecting bridge between the members of the Mánesa Music Group and the Czech greats of the 19th and 20th centuries. desk – By Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, Leoš Janáček and Bohuslav Martinů. Their lesser-known piano works with a dance character will be performed by pianist Adam Dvořáček. The program will also include the cycle of Czech poleks "Borová", H 195, the first polek of which was orchestrated by Bohuslav Martinů for chamber orchestra. The remaining dances are in the original for piano, newly adapted by a collective of Czech composers based on the chosen cast and compositional style of Bohuslav Martinů.
At the concert, we will also present significant research works by František Bartoš, a member and composer of the Mánes Music Group. We will commemorate 40 years since the ceremonial unveiling of the bust of Leoš Janáček on Charles Square, during which Václav Holzknecht gave a ceremonial speech. The dramaturgy of this concert also has a certain connection with our traditional "NeoMartinů" project, as Bohuslav Martinů was an honorary member of the Mánesa Music Group.
Program:

Leoš Janáček: Piano miniatures (Moravian dances - selection)
