Po stopách masakry na Švédských šancích: Zločin, na ktorý mala história zabudnúť

The massacre on Swedish chances near Přerov is one of the darkest chapters of Czechoslovak post -war history. On the night of 18 to 19 June 1945, 265 innocent Carpathian Germans, Hungarians and Slovaks, especially women and children, were executed in the mass grave. Almost 80 years after this tragic event and on the occasion of the release of unconventional comic book and popular-educational publication Dark Glain is organized by SNM-Museum of Culture of Carpathian Germans and publishing house of the Palacký Moderated discussion for the public. The events and course of the massacres in Swedish chances will offer an important historical context and current perspectives, will bring the massacres to the common Czech-German history and the Slovak municipalities concerned (Dobšiná, Mlynica, Jana Lehota and others) and reveals the fate of the victims and perpetrators of this horrific Act.
