He was not only a painter and artist, but also a writer, journalist, educator and savior of historical monuments. It was in Piešťany in the years 1932 - 1937 initiated the idea of ​​an art colony, which was supposed to be the center for young Slovak artists. Although this project did not encounter a broader understanding, Alexy's determination formed artistic events in the city. Much's characteristic style, full of fine lines and symbolism, became part of the spa environment and still reminds the power of art in conjunction with the healing power of Piešťany. He was an exceptional painter, illustrator and graphic designer who was devoted to portraits, figural compositions and banknotes.
