Pocta H. W. Ernstovi: koncert k 160. výročí úmrtí houslového virtuosa z Brna

The Canadian violinist and university professor Guillaume Tardif (University of Alberta, Edmonton) comes to remind the Brno audience forgotten native, who knows the whole music world. Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst (1812–1865) became famous as the violin virtuoso and composer, at that time he was referred to as the successor of Paganini. Prof. Tardif during the atypical accompaniment of the organ, which is located in the former chapel of the palaces of noblewries, will present classic works as the last rose of years, elegance or variations on the Venetian carnival, but also a lesser known program. An experienced Brno organist, regenschori of the St. James bark and organologist Ondřej Múčka will sit behind the organ. Part of the compositions will be accompanied by a player of the Brno Philharmonic Anežka Moravčíková.
