Post-rock matadors combining a British sound with a Slavic melody.
A hard-to-categorize post-guitar act, whose creation dates back to 2002 and is associated with the legendary Žižkov club Exit. The band performs instrumentally or with guest singers and is characterized by the layering of violin and guitar surfaces over tirelessly grooving rhythms.

Group Pod Černý vrch is a permanent member of the local alternative scene, where he has been active for almost 30 years. Throughout this time, it was characterized by a unique style, the unique stage performance of the band's frontman and a considerable amount of energy from all the musicians.
Since its foundation in 1995, the band has performed alongside other alternative or underground bands (Dog Soldiers, MCH Band, DG307, Zuby Nehty, Deep Sweden, UJD, Extempore and others). In different years, she repeatedly took part in the most important domestic festivals - Colors of Ostrava, Trutnov Open Air, Rock For People, Sázavafest, Venátská noc...
During her tenure, she released 5 CDs (Měchožil Zhoubný - BlackPoint 1997, Mechožílov's love songs – BlackPoint 1998, Celibát 2000 – Maťa 2000, Semotam – BlackPoint 2002, Ženění - Areca 2005).
Currently, after several years of detour into the area on the border between alternative, rock and folklore, he is turning back to his underground roots.
Specific manuscript of compositions , often with a non-linear structure and unusual work with motifs and themes can be recognized after a few notes. Especially in harmony, he also uses the procedures of classical music of the 20th century.
For his current work, the label discovers a musically dramatic expression.
Pod Černý vrch features percussion instruments, bass guitar, two keyboards (and samples), guitar, heavily affected violin, vocals and recital.
