Uncover the Secret of True Illusion
The Four Horsemen are back - and this time they're not alone! A new generation of magicians is entering the game, pushing the boundaries of illusion, deception and adrenaline tricks to a whole new level. Surprises await us, the likes of which we have not seen before on the screen.
In the third installment of the successful series, favorite heroes team up with new faces to face one of the biggest challenges of their careers. Their goal is to retrieve a rare diamond hidden in the heart of the criminal underworld. Every step is accompanied by brilliant tricks, risky robberies and unexpected twists that will test not only their skills, but also the trust between them.
Podfukári 3 builds on the success of the previous parts, which earned hundreds of millions of dollars worldwide and attracted tens of thousands of viewers in Slovakia (2013: 45,685, 2016: 75,289). This time, a mix of old familiar stars – Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman – meet on screen with new blood brought in by Rosamund Pike, Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith and Dominic Sessa.
Director Ruben Fleischer reveals: "There are three things I absolutely love in the world... Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and magic." That is also why he embarked on the third part, which, according to him, pushes the boundaries of the series even further. And Jesse Eisenberg adds about the news: "There is one really brilliant and extremely effective twist in the film... it will take your breath away."
Filming took place in several cities, including Budapest, Antwerp and Abu Dhabi. Spectators can look forward to epic tricks, spectacular action and tension in which nothing is as it seems at first glance. Podfukári 3 promises not only a return to what the audience loved, but also a new generation of magicians who will bring fresh wind to the series about illusions, secrets and spectacular pranks.
