From the cycle - Forms of love to God
Homily: Pavol Jurčo
Everywhere one looks, one feels a hunger for another kind of justice - for scales that measure more than just the balance of forces. People are tired of the unrealizable ideal of a world redeemed by a culture of shaming and disruption, of political movements without love. We have a lot of psychological tools to help us process trauma, but somewhere underneath we have buried the theological power of forgiveness - the one that creates the future.
Anne Snyder
Forgiveness is real only to the one who has discovered the weaknesses of his friends and the sin of his enemies in his own heart, only then is he able to call every human being his brother.
Henri Nouwen
Christ's whole morality, nothing but compassion; and that's exactly how morality should be. If he had not said anything other than this: Many sins are forgiven her, because she loved many - whoever said this could have already died. All his justice is poetic justice. And that's what justice should be.
Oscar Wilde
