Platform Family of children with disabilities, o.z.
For children with disabilities, their diagnosis is not the only problem. As a parental civic association since 2016, we have been helping their families, building relationships with experts and promoting changes in the system. In addition to the necessary information, we also provide the view and support of parents who have gone through a similar situation. The life of their families is full of disadvantages in our country. They do not receive adequate support after diagnosis, the development of children is not sufficiently supported, the chances of children to get into schools are low, nursing and relief service are difficult to access. One parent usually stays with the child at home, leading to financial and mental exhaustion of the family. And it is in these seemingly hopeless situations that we can help. In addition to information about the rights of the child, we can also provide the view and support of parents who have gone through a similar situation because we are the parents of children with disabilities and in the past we needed help.
