The Olšanské cemeteries are the largest burial ground in the Czech Republic, are situated on more than 50 hectares and the number of buried here is estimated at two million people. They were founded in 1786, but the beginnings of burial are even one hundred years older, in places at the Church of Sts. Rocha was buried in the mass graves of the victim of the plague. In the 19th and 20th centuries, Olšany cemeteries underwent significant development and became the main burial ground for the whole of Prague. During our walk focused on the newer part of the cemetery, this time we will recall mainly the personalities of the 20th century, such as actors, artists, writers, but also important drivers of public life. There will also be Miroslav Ondříček, Filip Topol, Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner, Helena Čapková, Miroslav Žbirka or K. J. Erben. Children under 12 years including free admission and without registration.

will be performed by Kateřina Svobodová. The meeting of the participants is in front of the main gate (stop of the Olšanské cemetery).
