About event
We invite you to another series of unforgettable evenings, where candlelight and the power of words create space for silence and deep human experience. This time we will dive together into the purity and humility of the work of the greatest Slovak poet - Milan Rúfus.
In today's noisy world, Rufus' work remains an island of security. His verses about home, mother, God and the destiny of man are not just literature, they are a mirror of our own inner searches. Come and remember the words that caress the soul and return us to the essentials.
On Thursday, June 11, the master's verses will be heard in DK Kramár, performed by exceptional performers. Štefan Bučko, Mária Schlosserová and Marek Lupták add depth to the poems, in which the wisdom of the ancestors and the fragility of everyday life come to life.
The musical atmosphere of the evening will be completed by the composer and lyricist Rudi Kurth, whose tones will intertwine with the words into a unique harmonious whole.
The event is created as a loose follow-up to the tradition of Juraj Sarvaš's poetry evenings - but brings a new, contemporary impulse.
GUESTS:
Štefan Bučko (actor, reciter)
Mária Schlosserová (actress, editor)
Marek Lupták (actor)
Rudi Kurth (Composer, lyricist)
Admission €8.
