About event

Sunday, September 28th I am hosting an open mic fundraiser for Palestinian families. I have been trying to think of a way I can be of greater support, and this just feels natural to me 🫶🏽

Join us at Nalu Kava Lounge (722 N Sumner St.) from 7-9pm for a night of connection, poetry, nourishing drinks, and mutual aid for folks in dire need of resources and community uplifting. Big thanks to Nalu for being a community hub, and personally for being a place of healing and connection for me during both good times and bad.

We will be donating 100% of monies raised towards a gofundme (http://bit.ly/4gIatMJ, please donate if you have the means 🙏🏽) hosted by Sarah Farahat which includes Zandi Saleem's family, a family near and dear to my heart.

Nalu is donating a portion of their sales that night as well! And there is a raffle! Nalu has been collecting on a raffle for a few months now, and on the 28th we will be announcing the winners, and allocating all those funds collected towards the pot to donate! Each $5 you donate upon entry will get you a raffle ticket 😊

The raffle prizes are:
-Two 1.5hour sessions of energy work ($350 value)
-Grounding mat from Gaya ($100 value)
-Kava/Cacao gift certificate ($50 value)

Thank you for reading. Thank you for being. And I hope to see you soon!
