About event
Sadler & Conrad
Liane Sadler/Renaissance Traverso
Elias Conrad/Loutna
Liane Sadler and Elias Conrad bring intimate synthesis of Renaissance flutes and lutes in the program with the subtitle "Rotation or Spirals of Songs and Dances Renaissance France".
For their tools, they adjust polyphonic compositions, dance forms and airs de cour using historical improvisation techniques such as diminits or bastard. They distill the lyrics of songs into the tones of their instruments, entering a direct music dialogue without words.
Sadler & Conrad is currently a set included in the prestigious pan-European S-EEEMERging project focused on professional and sustainable development of young ensembles of old music. It will be presented in our cycle as part of its Moravian residence, to which it was invited by the Concentus Moraviae festival, one of the twelve partners of the S-EEEMEMERging project supported by the Creative Europe program, and HF JAMU, the traditional partner of our cycle. .
