We invite you to a Czech-German sound poetry evening. Poet Běla Čápová will present her poems together with poets Dirk Huelstrunk and Jaromír Typlt.

She is a guitarist, poet and teacher. She studied ethnology at the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University and played the guitar at the Teplice Conservatory. He currently teaches at the ZUŠ. With Antonín Pevala, he creates the music project Lev Andule. In 2024, Malvern published her debut collection Cucat inner meow.

Dirk Huelstrunk is a sound poet and artist, writer and cultural activist living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. His work combines poetry, improvisation and electronic sound art. His influences include Dadaism, Surrealism, Fluxus, Beatniks, Pop and modern electronic sound poetry. He works with a variety of media and often collaborates with other artists. His poems have been translated into nine languages. His most recent publication is the bilingual poetry collection When repetition stops you are dead (2025). He is also a pioneer of the Spoken Word movement in Germany, where he has been organizing events dedicated to the spoken word since 1996.

Jaromír Typlt is a Czech poet, essayist, performer, art curator and editor. He studied Czech and philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, UK. In the years 2000–2010, he worked in Liberec as a curator of exhibitions of photography and contemporary art in the Small Exhibition Hall and then in the Gallery U Rytíře. Since the end of the nineties, he has been helping to promote the work of overlooked authors, he published the first publication about Zdenek Koška (2001), literary texts by Hana Fousková, František Novák and many others. In 2018, he established cooperation with the Altán Art association and is the curator of the Art brut Prague gallery, which deals with "art in its raw state". He has published six collections of poetry, the latest being the collection Pouzdří (2025).
