What does it mean when people turn to pre-Christian roots in the 21st century? How is the reconstruction of ancient religions carried out? Pavel Horák's lecture will present the fascinating world of modern paganism and its importance in today's European society. Come and discover new perspectives on ancient traditions!

Mysterious Powers of the Nation: Occultism and Nationalism in Central Europe

What influence did the occult have? on the formation of national identity in the Czech lands and Austria? Come discover how magic and the esoteric influenced national movements, ethnicity and racial theory at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Pavel Horák's lecture will take you into the world of hidden discourses that fundamentally shaped the politics and culture of Central Europe, and will show how occultists sought to uplift their own nation.
