We offer participation in structured self -help groups. The psychologist Ondřej Fafejta, who was inspired by the supervisory method of the Balint groups and the methods of sharing in anonymous groups, in some spiritual contexts (quakes, synod) and community building.

It is also possible that a participant agrees in advance with Ondřej on the formulation of a suitable topic and for the meeting this topic will be advertised in advance. After the event you can send a voluntary contribution to the activities of the Volunteer Center. 19.30

The event is organized by the Agora 7 volunteer center with the support of Prague 7 To take into account the following: It will probably be easier for you to find general problems (eg communication with people) than specific (eg communication with a specific person in a particular situation). Plus, you don't want to be so personal. Keep in mind, however, that the more specific the situation you mean, the easier you will find a solution. It is not possible to solve your life as a whole, nor your overall work in some organization and of course the overall settings of this world. It is much easier to make a more clear situation. Moreover, the more abstract and general you are, the less interesting your utterances become for others, and if such talks follow several consecutive, people quickly lose attention. On the contrary, specific situations with specific people bring emotions and stories. And to hear about foreign stories is exactly why people read novels, go to theater, look at reality shows, "gossip" and read tabloid magazines. Stories attract attention! And they are also necessary to use the Balint groups, because in order to be able to use this method, we need to hear a story to create fantasies that are essential for the method.
The topic
The meeting is primarily intended for community topics (work for second, volunteer work, work in civil initiatives, etc.). They may be interesting for you, even if you are primarily tempted to experience the methods of communication offered and not to talk about communities. The choice of community topic and working with the methods offered is ideal. However, if the group agrees to solve other topics by the methods, it is possible. It is still true that community topics take precedence. We will advertise and then discuss the pre -discussed topic.
Confidentiality
Please take into account that personal matters are often dealt with, and therefore the participants can be handled as confidential information. This is what we will respect that the author of the topic is already being discussed by his topic, and he wants to interrupt the activity. In addition, confidentiality is closely related to listening and the signs of listening is to work with pace and silence. When we speak slowly (we do not "drive" information) and also let the other person talk to, we make it clear that we support the atmosphere of listening.
