About event
The documentary film “The End of the Regime,” based on the book of the same name by Alexander Baunov, explores the causes of the collapse of authoritarian regimes. The focus is on three dictatorships in Western Europe: Franco in Spain, Salazar in Portugal and the “black colonels” in Greece. The film shows what happens to power in moments of its weakening and what scenarios are possible after the “end.”
After the screening there will be a discussion with the author of the book, Alexander Baunov, and director Igor Sadreev. At the meeting you will be able to buy the book “The End of the Regime.”
