About event
At the beginning of this year, Pol played their first headline show in a sold-out Bitterzoet and made a big impression on Noorderslag with their show. Now Pol is at the beginning of a new chapter with the release of the single Masks.
Pol consists of the brothers Ruben Pol and Matthijs Pol. With 'Masks' they wanted to make a song that continues to pound. They took inspiration from the post-punk genre and added a good dose of theatricality and drama from the New Romantic movement, and the unique Pol sound was born. Pol is inspired by bands such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Japan, New Order and Visage. They do this so convincingly that Visage's keyboardist, Logan Sky, is a fan of the band and even came to the Netherlands for their first headline show at the Bitterzoet last January, where he played a few songs with the band.
