About event
The landscape under the volcanic massif of Polana, extinguished volcano in the middle of Slovakia, hides living and inanimate natural wealth. Fragments of forests, forest communities, as well as other valuable habitats and natural corners, can now be given to the attentive visitor remarkable and interesting testimonies. Frivaldský grasshopper. All this on 22.09.2025 (Monday) at 18:00 in the Juraj Fándly Library in Trnava performed by Anton Krištín.

RNDr. Anton Krištín, DrSc. - scientist, ecologist and zoologist; He graduated from the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Bratislava and has been working at the Institute of Ecology of the Forest SAS, v. in. i. in Zvolen, where it is involved in basic and applied research in the field of ecology of forest ecosystems. He has a number of study and pedagogical stays abroad and rich scientific and publishing activities. He can also talk about birds and ornithology engaging, as well as insects and entomology. It is happy to popularize all this knowledge and spread them among the professional and lay public regardless of age.
