About event

🌿 25. 6. 17:00–20:30
🌿 MetroPole Jinonice (http://mapy.cz/s/konufovafa)

Where does the earth end and we begin? On the soles of the feet, the tips of the fingers, the surface of the eyes and the tongue? But what about the impulses that penetrate the surface of the body deep inside and continue to live in us as part of our microflora? What about our own footprints in and on the earth lingering long after our bodies die?

🍃 Perceptive walk

First we will go for a walk, during which we will look for answers to these questions. I will walk, climb, listen to my senses and trace my own perception of the world outside. We shake off the trappings of the everyday and tune in to the place and all it has to offer for us to explore.

🥬 Community feast

After the walk, we will rush to the flower beds together, where we will harvest the crops that Pole can give us at this time of the year. We will cook vegetable products from the crops and thus nourish the body and soul.

🌻🍃🥬

The meeting will take place in the area of MetroPole Jinonice and its immediate surroundings. You only need water and clothes that can get a little dirty. It will be possible to make a voluntary donation on the spot.

🌿 The meeting will be conducted by Kateřina Vídenová and Anna Behenská 🌿

🌿✨ Kateřina Vídenová is an architect, teacher and cook working in Prague. Together with Adam Wlazel, he has been leading the MAK studio since 2013! (Mobile architectural office), which connects architecture, education and participatory interventions focused on public space, ecology and community cooperation.

In his work, he has long been devoted to the relationship between food, landscape and shared experience, while he understands communal cooking and dining as tools of community imagination and activation. She also works at UMPRUM and from 2021 as the program coordinator of the Kafkárna/Centre for Art and Ecology, where she develops interdisciplinary projects connecting art, nature and questions of the future.

🌿✨ Anna Behenská is dedicated to guiding groups of first grade children on an outdoor circle of environmental and socio-emotional learning. Together, it comes on the path of becoming nature, which, whether we want it or not, we necessarily are. With groups of children, he incarnates into germinating seeds, finds fire, airiness, earthiness and fluidity within himself, learns resilience from pigeons, cooperation from ants and modesty from mosses, and forms webs of caring relationships among themselves.

He also facilitates group processes and lectures various programs. She is trying to revitalize the garden and orchard in Pošumaví, she likes to grow herbs and cook and bake with vegetables.
