About event
💚Hello, Prešov!💚
Many of you are already well aware of the concept of Pomisaj as a festival of sustainable living, which since 2018 has been bringing the general public in our area closer to environmental topics related to proper waste management, sustainability in everyday life, zero-waste lifestyle and directly supports the principles of circular economy.
This time we bring Pomisaj in a new, more intimate form as the event POMIŠAJ (SI), in direct cooperation with Technical Services of the City of Prešov (TSMP).
📅 When: 16. 7. 2026 from 15:00 to 19:00
📍 Where: Hlavná ulica in Prešov (near St. Nicholas Church)
🎟️ Entry: exactly zero euros
✨ What can you look forward to? ✨
👗 MIX ZONE
A cashless exchange zone where you can bring and mix clean, undamaged adult and children's seasonal clothes, books and household items (max. 3 pieces from each category).
🧠 EDU ZONE
A place where lecturers from Odvážna and TSMP will be waiting for young and old. You will learn everything about the proper sorting of waste, you will have a close look at a real garbage truck (but you can't miss this one!) and in a practical workshop you will try to make your own bee box.
🛠️ ÓŽIVOVŇA
A zone where nothing is impossible and we give things a second chance:
With popka.sk, you will see how upcycling works in practice and try small repairs clothes.
With FabClub's creative community workshop, you will discover examples of 3D printing used for repairs and DIY applications.
And to top it all off, you will be welcomed by the smiling faces of Atelier Made IN Home with their Hamok Bag project, where they transform leftover materials into unique bags, backpacks and waist bags, and you might even leave with one.
Mix the community, we look forward to it on you! 💚
The event and the project MIX (SI) are realized thanks to the Participatory Budget of the city of Prešov 2026.
Photos, audio and audiovisual recordings will be made at the event. By participating, the participant consents to the making of records - photographs, sound and audiovisual records, which can be used for the promotion of the festival.
