Ode to grandma
Two chefs, one source of inspiration: grandma.
For both Titi Waber (restaurant Waber. in Zwolle) and Chesron Nanuru (Senang Makan Breda), their grandmother is the soul of their cooking skills. On Sunday, October 26, they will pay a culinary tribute to their grandmothers in a unique 6-course menu at Tugela85 in Amsterdam. During this special pop-up event, not only will they enjoy a delicious meal during a 6-course menu with influences from Ambon and Surabaya, among others, but they will also reflect together on the transfer of culinary heritage between generations. The evening is organized by the Eating Habits Foundation. Maureen de Jong from 't Kleinkookbedrijf will lead the evening as MC.
