About event
One of our most successful contemporary paintings comes to Bratislava with a project that connects art and human stories.
The exhibition presents the works of the Tanzanian painter-Samouk Muss, inspired by the work of Katarína Janečková Walshe. Katka met him years ago through social networks. Mussa lives in Tanzania, teaches children to paint, occasionally accompanies outputs to Kilimanjaro and develops her own work in dialogue with Katka's paintings, and the reality of Africa. His dream is the same as Katkin - feeding the family by painting. It is Martin Krivák who is one of the collectors who stood at Katka since her beginning and helped fulfill her ambitions. He was consistently interested in what he was trying to express. Thanks to his interest and trust, her dream has become a reality. The paintings from his collection are part of this exhibition. The confidence that she received from Martin Krivák at the beginning of her journey is pushing Musso today. In this exhibition, their stories are naturally associated - they are a story of trust, hope, new beginnings and the power of art to change lives.
