About event
Purpose and goals of the program
The purpose of the program is to present and practice strategies, procedures, methods and techniques of counseling in the work of the professional public with clients. Expand, deepen and innovate professional competences, theoretical knowledge and especially practical skills for those interested in the professional public and experienced practitioners.
Form of work
All two-day meetings are experience-oriented. Participants will have the opportunity to experience themselves in the role of a client and through their own self-experience to understand the useful strategies and procedures of a consultant. In addition to self-experience, each two-day workshop will be filled with training in practical counseling skills and competencies related to the given topic, which is covered over the course of two days. Each two-day program will also include space for reflection and supervision of one's own cases. Some of the two-day programs will include invited guests who will present their own consulting style with practical demonstrations. Throughout the year, participants are expected to work with clients continuously, to be interested in development and feedback, and to be able to cooperate in a group process.

Target group
Education is suitable for all professionals who accompany clients in the context of counseling: counseling and school psychologists, social counselors, treatment and special pedagogues, for coaches, mentors, supervisors who supervise counselors, but may also interest psychotherapists, organizational advisors and senior employees of organizations engaged in consulting.
You can only apply for the entire program. The course is divided into 10 two-day, consecutive meetings (modules). The group is coherent.

1. The role of the advisor. Basic counseling competences and communication skills of the counselor
2. The counseling process and its individual phases
3. Counseling interview and its structure
4. Contracting in consulting and working with goals
5. Working with the client's family, context and relationships
6. Work with involuntary clients, motivation and resistance in counseling
7. Diagnostics in the counseling process
8. Methods and techniques of the counseling process (cognitive, behavioral and systemic strategies, emotion-focused and psychodynamic strategies)
9. Multidisciplinary cooperation in the context of client care
10. Ethics and ethical dilemmas in counseling
As an introduction to the issue, interested parties can use recordings of webinars on the mentioned topics. Recordings are charged.
Lecturers
You will be accompanied by Mgr. Vladimír Hambálek and Mgr. Zuzana Zimová. Guests will be invited to selected two-day events.
Accreditation
Participants working in the education department have the opportunity to obtain a certificate of innovative education in accordance with § 56 after completing the entire program of 150 hours. para. 1 and 4, Act no. 138/2019 Coll. on teaching staff and professional staff of the Ministry of Education. It applies to the categories of professional employees: psychologist, school psychologist, special educator, field special educator, career counselor, speech therapist and school speech therapist, therapeutic educator, social educator;
for the category of pedagogical employees: school special educator
Depending depending on the requirements of the applicants, individual two-day courses can also be accredited by the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists - the graduate has the opportunity to obtain SKP credits.

155 Euros for one two-day meeting.
Discounts:
• 10 Euros for one two-day meeting for all registrants who have already completed some of the medium- or long-term Coachingplus trainings in the past
• In case of advance payment for all 10 modules is a discount in the amount of one meeting
Method of payment
Before the first meeting, participants pay a deposit in the amount of one two-day meeting, the total amount for the first meeting is 310 Euros, or 290 Euro after discount.
Place and time of the event:
The venue will be chosen depending on the number of registered participants, in Bratislava.
Time of the event: 1. day 9 :00 – 17:00 and 2nd day 8:30 – 15:30 (the presentation starts half an hour before the start of the class)
The number of registered participants is limited. Timely payment of the payment will determine the order of those registered.
