About event
Friday 21. BR/> We get used to various open letters flying through our country from the sender to the recipient. In October 2024, as part of the 10th anniversary of our festival, we installed the house in the House of Arts Post-Communication by Martina Chudá. It is an intermediate site-specific installation in which we gave you the opportunity to write a link and put it in a selected box with a specific recipient. On the boxes are the names of different inhabitants: empathy, humanity, respect, trust ... Who is the recipient of these references? On Friday after the protest we will meet at SNP 12 Square in the foyer of the House of Arts and open the box together. We will read your links with the author.

◦ Post -Communication installation (2022 - 2024) calls on the audience to participate. It gives him the opportunity to respond, express himself and throw his message into the boxes. Participants may leave a message to the Ministry of Culture, House of Arts and Kunsthalle or respond overall to the current state of culture. Martin Chudá, the instead of the original labels with the names of the inhabitants and owners of the mailboxes, added inscriptions referring to information explosion, post -communication (not only) in online space and to cool the interpersonal relationships, whether local, neighborly, intimate or international and global. Labels appear backlit inscriptions such as flashing values that are absent or suppressed in today's society - humanity, empathy, solidarity ... To them are as pendant added passwords composed of keyboards encountering negative aspects of digital communication - disinformation, monitoring, monitoring, monitoring, monitoring, monitoring, monitoring, Manipulation ...
