Today, at a time when many people are skeptical to traditional spiritual concepts, blessing may seem like something archaic. Yet it still retains its strength - it can be seen as a wish of good, as a spiritual gift, or as an expression of linking with something higher. In some traditions, not only the request for God's favor, but also a commitment - to accept the blessing means to bear responsibility for what has been entrusted to us. The blessing may not only be perceived only as a ritual act, but as a way to express care, hope and connection between people. Moderated by Šárka Grauová.
