In addition to interesting films on archeology, history and art, the international film festival Archeofilm Bratislava will also offer lectures and discussions at the headquarters of the Municipal Institute for the Protection of Monuments in Bratislava. Entry to the events is free. In the Hall under the vaults, Ing. Ľubor Suchý, PhD. preservationist from the Monuments Office of the Slovak Republic.

When in 2019 one of the most famous symbols of Europe – the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris – caught fire, the world watched with bated breath to see if it would be possible to save its unique historical trusses. What did the rescue look like from the inside? What was captured, what was lost forever and what was revealed about the rafters by the accident itself?
