Discovery trip in nature above Nitra - accompanying event of the 17th edition of the Nitra High Mountains festival.
We will meet on 24/11/2024 at 09:15 at Nemocnica pod Zoborom.
The trip will only take place in case of favorable weather.
This time our guides will be botanists , married couple Mariana and Pavol Eliašovci.
We invite you to an autumn botanical excursion to the Zoborské vrchy, where you will get to know with flora at the border of Pannonia and the Carpathians. The excursion starts from the Hospital of St. Svorada, it will lead to a species-poor quartzite hill, to dry prominent limestone slopes, to forest communities above the Lyžiarská luuka and the end will be on the quartzite cliffs of the Pyramid with (hopefully) nice views of the surrounding landscape.
Sunday trip taking place on the third day of the festival has been part of the festival since 2013. It was preceded by the idea of "luring" festival visitors from the screening hall to nature. Together with an expert on various areas related to nature above Nitra, on the Zoborské vrchy, we will take a walk, do something for our health and learn a lot of information about the area. Every year, the trip is conceptualized thematically. This accompanying event of the festival has already won many supporters.
A photographer will be on the road during the trip. Each participant agrees that photographs or other records of his/her person may be used in any technical modification for the promotion of the festival at present, or in the future.
