Pozorování zatmění slunce 12.8.2026 v Lesoparku Letňany

On August 12, 2026, from 7:15 p.m., an extraordinary phenomenon will occur - an almost total eclipse of the sun, which will be observable directly from the Czech Republic. The moon will be new and will cover about 90% of the solar disk. If you don't watch the solar eclipse at one of the observatories, come and have a look at the Letňany forest park (near the playground with the airplane), where I will be waiting for you with several binoculars, with which we will be able to watch the entire phenomenon safely. href="https://astro.lukasmichlovsky.cz/">https://astro.lukasmichlovsky.cz/

If if you decide to watch the solar eclipse yourself - do not forget to ALWAYS protect your eyes with special means, such as protective glasses.

Attention, the event will only take place in good weather, so hopefully we will be lucky and after 1999 this solar eclipse will be another unique experience.

The event is public, anyone can come, everyone is welcome.

We will look forward to seeing you - Lukáš Michlovský with other summer friends. So arrive!
