We cordially invite you to a public discussion of the problematic points of the management of restaurant gardens.
The issue of restaurant gardens has been affecting the atmosphere in the center of Prague for several years. The Prague 1 Chamber of Commerce has been proactively warning for a long time that there is complete chaos in the agenda, control mechanisms are not working, some operators are tolerated in breach of contracts and rules at the expense of others, which as a result leads to discrimination and the leakage of millions of crowns, which the city coffers lose.
Because there is no space for a thorough discussion of individual aspects at regular commission or committee meetings, attention is distracted by other topics, and it is no longer possible to respond to a vague answer, we invited the responsible councilor Adam Zábranský to a public meeting, at which we want discuss the most pressing problems in detail, try to get answers, and find solutions. The goal is a transparent discussion of individual cases so that we speak concretely, and the discussion is not diluted.
Specific questions based on individual examples will be formulated by the president of the Prague 1 Chamber of Commerce, Filip Dvořák.
In in the second half of the discussion, it will be possible to ask questions from the audience.
We are convinced that the chosen format of the meeting supports the policy of transparency and openness, which the property agenda should follow.
