What would you do if you accidentally swapped your briefcase on the tube for another containing three quarters of a million pounds? Henry Perkins, a settled clerk from the suburbs of London, decides to keep the money - despite the fact that a large-scale crime is clearly behind it. His plan is clear: get home, load his wife Jean into the first taxi to the airport and fly with her and the money somewhere where the real owners of the briefcase will not find them. against him: Jean is roasting chicken for Henry's birthday party and doesn't want to hear about leaving immediately, and Perkins family friends Vic and Betty arrive at the party shortly after, who they don't understand why the whole party is being cancelled. In addition, Henry's plan begins to be complicated by two police officers - one pragmatically paid, the other stubbornly devoted to justice - and an inappropriately drunk taxi driver. Gradually, everyone begins to pretend to be someone else, lies are bought for lies, leaving the living room in the direction of the airport still fails, and a mysterious Godfather begins to appear on the horizon, who intends to uncompromisingly demand his briefcase...
Work Ray Cooney's classic English farce is always a guarantee of a frenzied situation roller coaster full of great fun and Dust! they are a masterful display of his ability to extract from a single situation an incredible carousel of comedic madness. Our audience will surely remember the recent successful production of another of Cooney's excellent comedies, Double Booking. It is no coincidence that he also mentions Prachy! its director Stanislav Slovák on our stage.
