Prague Quiet Music Festival 2026

Prague Quiet Music Festival is a festival of quieting down, slowing down and fully experiencing the present moment. During two days, the Fortna nad Prahou monastery will be transformed into a space of contemporary experimental music, silence and focused listening. The festival will offer an intensive excursion into the world of slow music and new sounds performed by outstanding performers.

The 6th year of the festival will bring significant international personalities to Prague - the Swedish composer Kristofer Svensson and the American violinist Maya Bennardo. The program includes solo concerts, improvisation and new compositions, including a world premiere by Kristofer Svensson and PQMC artistic director Ian Mikysky.

The program will be complemented by workshops, light refreshments and a reading corner. Workshops are part of the festival and participation is only possible with a valid ticket. Prior registration is required.

Accommodation:

Possibility to let the silence fade away. After the concerts, there is no need to rush back to the noise of the big city, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet night in the monastery above Prague. The festival offers the opportunity to slow down, stay longer and let the sounds of the festival reverberate in the unique space of the monastery in two variants:

• single room
• double room

Accommodation is available for one night during the festival weekend:

• check-in: Saturday 27 June from 2 p.m.
• check-out: Sunday 28 6., until 9:00 p.m. (after the end of the festival program)

In case of interest, the possibility of extending the stay until Monday for an additional charge of CZK 950 per person. The extension does not need to be reserved, it can be ordered and paid on the spot during check-in in cash or by card).
