About event
CZ 🇨🇿 80. Symphony No. 8 Gustav Mahler for eight soloists, two mixed choirs, children's choir and monumental orchestra with organ earned the subtitle "Symphony of Thousands". "Imagine how the entire universe starts to sound and thunder. These are no longer human voices, but circling planets and the sun," Gustav Mahler wrote shortly after the work. Semjon Byčkov, who is highlighted as one of the largest Mahler conductors of the present day, will be able to study the feature work of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. It was Mahler's second symphony, which in 2018 took the post of chief conductor and artistic director of the Czech Philharmonic. "Mahler is an Austrian composer for the whole world, while for me and my colleagues from the Czech Philharmonic is a Czech composer," he said. The Mahler's Opus Magnum with eight singing stars and the three best Czech choirs promises the real peak of the Prague Spring 2025. @innogycz
