About event
🎬 The continuation of the series On the home wave with Lenka Bednárová will bring a screening of Ivan Ostrochovský's new film Prameň and a subsequent discussion with the director.
🎞️ An impressive historical drama with Aňa Geislerová in the lead role opens one of the most painful and long-hidden chapters of Czechoslovak history - the forced sterilization of Roma women.
🎞️ In a hospital in the Slovak countryside elegant doctor Ingrid befriends a young paramedic, which forces her to question the system and her own decisions. The film sensitively talks about responsibility, conscience and the courage to stand up to injustice.
🎤 The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Ivan Ostrochovský and screenwriter Marek Leščák, led by film columnist Lenka Bednárová.
🔵 The cycle On the Home Wave with Lenka Bednárová features Slovak films supplemented by interviews with their creators. Together we will take a look behind the scenes of the creation of the film, its themes and the creative process, and offer space for questions and open discussion.
