About event
Holiday Crafts: Summer creative craftsmanship during July and August in Kammerhof in Banská Štiavnica
The Slovak Mining Museum in cooperation with the Civic Association of the Initiative for Live City brings a varied program during the summer holidays that will connect children, parents and curious visitors with live inheritance. Come to relax from the digital world and experience the "holiday box of craft" - a series of creative workshops. The workshops will be held in Kammerhof - headquarters of the Slovak Mining Museum in the historic center of Banská Štiavnica.
What awaits you? They can spend the whole day in the workshop all day. We will change the activities differently. We believe that everyone will find something close to their heart. We will focus on craft techniques such as bobbin and weaving, batiking and embroidery, enameling, clay formation, toy production, baking bread and gingerbread. The program will also include gold panning, which will delight both small and large “gold diggers”. It is not a passive observation - everyone will try the craft by hand and take the result home. The environment of our workshop brings truly creative ideas and the creators always feel comfortable here. Holiday Kumst craft is a program for all ages.
When and where? 30th, 31 July 2025
1., 14., 15., 16 August 2025
Reservation is not necessary. In case of larger groups (over 10 people) the reservation is recommended. href = "www.muzeumbs.sk"> www.muzeumbs.sk
