The pub is a place that has an important position in Czech history. Political parties were founded here, artistic friendships or new unions were formed. A prime minister and a painter, a king and a cat could sit side by side here.
Participants will explore some of the most famous Prague pubs on the right side of the Vltava. It will start at Jelínků, walk through Jilská, where the participants will stop at the Golden Tiger, and if things don't go wrong, the walk will end in Jakub Pinkas' pub. Where was Plzeňský Prazdroj first tapped in Prague, where do the regulars think it is the best? Who was the pub father of all the students in Prague, where Jan Neruda went for lunch for the second time? Participants will learn this and much more during a walk focused on the famous Old Town and New Town pubs.
