The Prague boot at the castle
The legendary band Prague Výbora will perform at the castle in Pezinok in the original composition: Michael Kocáb, Michal Pavlíček, Vilém Čok, Klaudius Kryšpín, Jiří Hrubeš and a permanent guest of DJ Roxtar. The group around Michael Kocáb became famous for the dissident past, but has been gathering more significant concert successes in recent years. In 2016 they played the biggest solo concert with symphonics in the sold out O2 Arena and opened the Prague concert Rolling Stones. In the early 1980s, under the influence of young western bands, they switched to New Wave. Juraj Herz made a film Straka in a handful, in which several personalities of Charter 77 appeared as extras. Between 1983 and 1986, the authorities completely banned their activities. After the revolution, the band leader Michael Kocáb became a deputy and chairman of the parliamentary commission for supervision of the displacement of Soviet troops from the territory of the former Czechoslovakia. open 18: 30hod.
