Prague Castle is a cross-country walk with Prague.

Prague Castle is a symbol of statehood and all rulers - kings, emperors, presidents tried to leave their mark here. The aim of this tour will be to discover those traces by visiting the interiors. The tour will include a visit to the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George and Zlaté Uličky.

Participants will learn what message Charles IV. left in the Gothic cathedral and what was the main reason for the construction, who was the last emperor who lived here, how was it with Maria Theresa - why did she invite her court architect to reconstruct the Castle, where the coronations of the Czech kings took place, how difficult it was to be a king, where where President Masaryk, Beneš and other presidents lived, who all live in the Castle today and whether the alchemists were really the original inhabitants of Zlatá Ulička.

• Meeting point: in front of the bistro Lví dvůr opposite the tram stop Prague Castle (tram no. 22, 23)

• Tickets can only be purchased on the spot if the capacity of the walk has not been filled - it is necessary to contact the organizer to find out the current situation.
