In the middle of Prague, a piece of wilderness still remains. And on warm June evenings, real giants come alive on it! Come with us to Petřín to find Europe's largest beetles - hornets.
They fly here and there among the old oaks. In addition to observing hornbills in their summer courtship den, you will also be told about their life, importance and protection not only in Petřín.
The walk is led by entomologist Michal Vais.
📅 When: 20 June from 7.30 pm to 9 pm
📍 Meeting point: crossroads near Petřínského jezírka (50°4'44.3"N 14°23'53.1"E)
🎟 Entrance fee:
100 CZK/child
150 CZK/child accompanied by 1 adult
100 CZK/each additional child or adult
In case of bad weather, the entrance fee will be refunded.
