The Diocesan Museum prepared an exhibition of works by Brno artist Ludvík Kolek (1933–2021), which represents the public of unknown works from the so -called Belgian collection. It maps their journey from the time of its inception to the present, when the Bishopric of Brno was donated by the nurses of the religious community of Maranath of Overijs in Belgium.
Unique paintings from the turn of the 70s and 1980s. The last century shows a tongue for the depth of spiritual art, which, as an author with a personal spiritual foundation, managed to transform the characteristic abstract forms into him. The collection is complemented by small studies and other parts from the collections of private owners.
The exhibition is accessible in the crypt of the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul from 24 April to 25 May 2025 daily from 10 am to 5 pm (Thursday to 4 pm).
