Part of the 10th Golden Age Festival is the second festival day - a lecture by musicologist Agata Schindler on the theme of the life story of the Swing master and Slovak evergreens, composer Karol Elbert.

The lecture is free. (1983). Since 1981 he has lived in Dresden. She devoted thirty years of her scientific activity to the artists they were chasing, forcibly dragged into concentration camps and even those who were lucky enough to find a hiding place and survived there. In detailed monitoring of their cruel fates, the first and only one is revived in three publications after more than half a century of silence the works, lives and fates of these artists. In her book, a little tear also approached the life story of Swing and Slovak Evergreens, composer Karol Elbert. She is also the author of the theme of the Slovak-Czech Film in Silence (in Silence), which reflects the results of her long-term research.

The festival begins a day earlier, 20.9. A big concert in Slovak Radio: Andrej Hermlin and His Swing Dance Orchestra and Fats Jazz Band.
