About event

The lecture is part of the cycle "New knowledge and sources for the history of the Holocaust", which we organize in cooperation with EHRI-CZ on the occasion of the 80s.

It is mostly paid to the fate of the Jewish community in Prague in the debate on the Holocaust on the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Less known, however, is the story of Moravian Jews who faced cruel persecution and oppression in the early days of the Nazi occupation. The lecture of American historian Benjamin Frommer will bring a specific development in Moravia and offer a comparison with the events in Bohemia.

The event will take place in English with simultaneous interpreting to Czech.

Admission 60 CZK.
