The lecture is loosely connected to Michal Mitra's exhibition Everything is falling apart, everything is coming together. One of the ingredients from which Michal's exhibition was created is "Italian brainrot", a world of surreal characters, strange digital assemblages of goods, things, animal and human bodies. AI slop. This can then be understood as one of the manifestations of the gradual development of digital technologies and the Internet to a state that provokes us to think of the Internet as "dead" or "undead".
Zombie Internet is a world in which the hierarchy between human and non-human disappears and where we are only one and less and less privileged group of actors. The lecture will be a short excursion into the field of artistic practice, which chooses the zombie internet and its manifestations as the subject of its interest.
