Lecture as part of the Soft Crack, Brittleness exhibition program, which Still Holds in the Gallery will be interpretation Pardovičová. The second part of the lecture is tied to the topics of corporeality, hybridity and flora in the widespread field of fine art, technology and philosophy. Through selected author approaches and case studies of exhibitions, some of the possibilities of understanding plants as entities that represent an important aspect of artistic as well as everyday, crisis of shaped reality will be developed. This actor in various interpretations, historical periods and symbolism, as well as in contemporary artistic research studies, becomes a community, co-creator and means of learning empathy and interspecific coexistence. Together with Barbora Lungová, she exhibited in Distillery Brno (2024) or separately in the postpost Gallery in Brno (2023) or the Mexican La Caja Galería (2024). Interest in detail in Tamary Cond is oscillates at the borders of hybridization of images of corporeality and transient animal life. The author often examines small, even invisible layers of bodies, people or other entities found in their physical matter or symbolism. It sometimes works with artificial intelligence, which he invites to the creation process and is inspired by its (un) organic ability to destruction and hybridization of the digital image. She is interested in the themes of emotional balance, passive perception and experiencing different layers of real estate or reflection of the very existence of the human body and its (in) abilities. It modifies people in contrasts and (also) interactions with other animals, plants and their parts, constantly testing the possibilities of the painting media itself. The author also expresses herself through performance actions and its intimate, but at the same time, the layers of symbols overgrown, reminds of the sense of humility and visibility of the meanings of interspecific life.
Viktória Pardovičová
Viktória Pardovičová studied the theory of art in the fields of artistic studies and interactive media theory at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, where currently active and pedagogical. In 2021 she initiated the Postpost Gallery project in Brno, she works as a curator of contemporary art. He also focuses on art and cultural journalism, production and reviewing of exhibitions. Her curatorial projects included, for example, an exhibition of organism Revisited (Galerie Fava, 2024) or cooperation at the author's exhibitions Resensins - Beyond Symbiosis (Vašulka Kitchen Brno, 2024), Help! He is interested in the possibility of approaches to the mediation of fine arts or its sustainability in communication with philosophy and questions of sensory and interspecific perception. It also deals with the contexts of off-space gallery concepts and theoretical-practical and emotional aspects of the curatorial role in the interinstitutional spheres. The Gallery's interpretation partner is the City of Trnava.
