About event
Most of the Czechoslovak legionnaires were already members of the Sokol before the Great War, and falconry formed one of the cornerstones of the first Czechoslovak resistance. The lecture will summarize the entire story of the joint struggle for national independence and will present several stories of the falcons-legionaires.
We are including the lecture on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jan Čapek, the falconer and organizer of the Czechoslovak Legion in Italy.
