How is it possible that despite the scientific consensus regarding the existence of climate change, an adequate response has not yet been adopted? And why do we still have to discuss the existence of climate change even three decades after the first global conference recognizing this fact on a political level?
As Vojtěch Pecka reveals in his book The Factory of Lies: the production of climate disinformation, it is also about the result an elaborate political strategy that aims to protect the interests of the fossil industry.
Come to a lecture and subsequent discussion with the author of the book about the issue on which he is most effective awareness is the cure.
The event takes place as part of the Climate Week at PF UK organized by the student association Mater Nostra. Full program here: https://fb.me/e/7KaYeFOS8
