Do we like endings or avoid them? Are they beautiful? Elegant? Chaotic? Liberating? Are they persecuting us, or are they bringing relief? What does such an ending look like?
The authors of the book Catalogue of Endings Martin Jenča and Katarína Poliačiková have prepared a program that cannot be pigeonholed - something between a lecture, a sermon, an interview and a concert. All at once, all about endings.
Catalogue of Endings is a collection of imaginative endings. Art, film, pop culture, personal memories and philosophy meet in short texts accompanied by images and essays. The book invites you to imagine what the end really looks like. Not a new beginning in disguise, but the end itself. For everyone who never knew how to leave, let go or simply say: this is the end.
