We cordially invite you to the performance of an extensive lexicographic publication Modern Czech Theater Game (1896–1945); Between the text and the production (Dictionary of works), which will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 16.30 in the Lower Hall of the Institute for Czech Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (on Florence 1420/3, Prague 1). Šotkovská and Michal Fránek.
The evening will be moderated by Michal Zahálka. The event will also include scenic reading of examples from interpreted dramas performed by Johana Schmidtmajerová and Patrik Holubář. They co -create a picture of Czech literary and theater culture. More than a hundred contained dictionary slogans together with interpretations reporting individual periods represent as a detailed report on the developmental transformations of Czech theater games in the context of dynamically changing cultural and social conditions of the first half of the 20th century.
