Představení studentské práce: Výchova k manželství a rodičovství v období normalizace

On behalf of the Association of Students of the History of the Faculty of Arts, we cordially invite you to another performance of the student work, which will take place on Tuesday 6th 5th from 19:15 in the P209 room. About his successfully defended diploma thesis entitled “Malar Education and Parenting in the period of normalization in Czechoslovakia through the eyes of actors (1970-1989)” We will give us a lecture by our dear colleague Berenika Čejková. Thorough insight into the field of family and partner culture with a perspective of the so -called "bottom" history. Among other things, the author asks - how did the actors accept the family patterns they met on television screens, manuals, school desks and marital counseling? What were the effects of these formulas on their own self -concept and identity? How did the actors move and create the boundaries of "normality" in the field of partner and family relationships? Perhaps it will also prove to be several times that the normalization period is not just "conservative", "Puritan" or "traditional", as it might seem at first glance. Especially in the forms of negotiations and shifting standards in the level of intimacy and identities can be seen even for today's society many inspiration.

ps. The author has a great weakness for methodology, so expect a thorough familiarization of concepts to monitor the acts and action of actors (not only) in the field of historical sciences.
